Music Playing Apps

Here's some of the music playing apps that I use, in alphabetic order.

Apple Logic Pro

I use Logic Pro as my DAW for recording, mixing, looping and mastering.

Apple Mainstage

I use Mainstage as my main software instrument host.

Arturia Plugins & Analog Labs

Refer to my Arturia Notes.

BandMix

I use this for searching other musicians or for letting them find me.

CK Tools

Refer to my Yamaha CK-61 Notes.

Moises.ai

They qualify themselves as the Musician's App which is kind-of true for me because I use it nearly every day to separate tracks from covers and to play them back. To get right into it, I use this URL: https://studio.moises.ai/library/.

Musescore Pro

URL: https://musescore.com

I got a good deal on a yearly subscription Musescore Pro so I'm using sporadically to accelerate the learning of some songs (mostly piano stuff).

Novation Components

Refer to my Novation LaunchKey 61 mk4 Notes.

Pocket MIDI

Mac app found on Apple's App Store. I use it for MIDI testing and monitoring. It's a MIDI pocket knife!

Roland RD-88 Editor

Refer to my Roland RD-88 Notes.

SongBook for Mac

Refer to my Using SongBook for Mac post.

SoundMondo

Refer to my Yamaha CK-61 Notes.

Ultimate Guitar Pro

I got a good deal on a yearly subscription of Ultimate Guitar Pro. The Pro version sometimes helps to accelerate the learning of some songs (not always). I've contributed a bit too. If I remember well, anyone can get free Pro access for 1 month after contributing for a new song (or a better version of an existing one?).
